The Linda: WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio is bringing live entertainment outside with the inaugural “Summer on Central” music series, taking place Saturdays in August in The Linda’s parking lot at 339 Central Avenue. Free and open to the public, the region’s premier local artists will perform, showcasing their dynamic and dance-worthy music in a series that celebrates the multi-cultural community found in the heart of New York’s capital. Each week, multiple bands will take to the stage for this family-friendly event that also includes food, artist, and non-profit organization vendors. Lawn chairs are encouraged; pets are not permitted.

The series is presented by The Linda: WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio and WAMC Northeast Public Radio, in partnership with Nippertown.com, WEXT, WEQX. the Central Avenue Business Improvement District and Empire Audio Recording & Sound LLC.
