The Churney Curney is a fundraising event to support Camp Under the Woods which is in it’s 10th year and is a summer camp for children on the autism spectrum.

This year it’s a 2 day festival with a 5 mile trail running race, the mountain bike race, demo rides, food, beer from Common Roots and much more! This event is family friendly, come out and enjoy the park! Gurney Lane offers:

• Swimming pool with day passes available. (Racers given free admission)

• Fishing pond
• Hiking and walking trails
• Large picnic area
• Food Vendor and Common Roots Beer

• 7-8:30 AM – Registration for Churney Gurney 5 Mile Trail Running race
• 9:00 AM – Race Start
• 10:30 AM – Race Results and Awards for all age groups
• 12:00 – 4:00 PM – Demo Rides
• 12:00 – 4:00 PM – Scheduled Group Rides to showcase all that Gurney Lane has to offer
• 12:00 – 4:00 PM – Games and contests for the entire family

Sunday August 6, 2017

• 7-8:30 AM – Registration for Churney Gurney Mountain Bike Race
• 9:00 AM – Race Start for Cat 2 and Cat 1 – 2 minutes between age groups
• 11:00 AM – Race Start for Cat 1 and Open/Pro Divisions
• 1:00 PM – Kids Races and awards to immediately follow
• 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM – Demo rides
